Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the www.showandsave.com website and/or the Show & Save App (the “Service”) operated by Show & Save (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Show & Save Definition and General Overview
Show & Save is a digital coupon-based subscription service owned and operated and managed by Show & Save. Users of this service are entitled to all included, pre-approved coupons from participating businesses. These coupons are then guaranteed for acceptance and redemption, as advertised and promised, by the corresponding businesses at any future date within the lifetime of the current, active subscription or of the expiry date of the coupon itself. Subscriptions to Show & Save are to last a full 12 month period from the point of activation unless otherwise stated.
Show & Save Coupon Usage and Rights
All coupons are considered valid from the point of appearance within Show & Save until removal or redemption. Coupons are not to be treated as cash and have no value outside of pre-determined discounts at the pre-determined businesses. Coupons must be honoured at the point of purchase by the business on or before the expiry date and as long as the coupon is being used within the parameters of the coupon as stated on the front of the coupon or in the Coupon Details section on any particular coupon. Any limitations or restrictions must be included on the front of the coupon or within the Coupon Details section or are not considered enforceable. Discrepancies in coupon, service, redemption, or level of service are solely the responsibility of the business. Failure to redeem a coupon within the allotted timeframe once the timer is activated is the sole responsibility of the user.
Show & Save Mobile App – Rules of Use
Coupons are not valid with any other specials, discount or promotional offer unless otherwise stated.
Each coupon may only be used once unless otherwise stated.
Please redeem your coupon(s) with the business before your bill is totaled. For delivery orders please mention coupon(s) when placing your order.
Fun Food/Casual & Fine Dining Offers
- One free offer per coupon.
- One bill per group (no separate cheques).
- Only one coupon may be used for every two people, up to a maximum of three coupons per group.
- May not be combined with any other offer.
- Not valid for buffets unless otherwise stated.
- Unless otherwise stated, coupons in the Fun Food section may be used for dine-in and takeout. Restaurant offers in the Casual Dining section are dine-in only, unless otherwise stated.
Buy – 1 – Get – 1 Free Dining Offers
The restaurant will deduct the least expensive entrée or menu item, up to the maximum discount on the coupon (when stated).
Buy – 1 – Get – 1 Half Price Offers
The restaurant or business will deduct 50% OFF the least expensive item.
Other offers
- One coupon per visit.
- May not be combined with any other offer.
For satisfactory service when dining, we recommend the tip should equal 15-20% of the total bill BEFORE THE DISCOUNT IS SUBTRACTED.
Dining in Groups
When more than two people dine together, the following applies:
- One bill per group (no separate cheques), unless it is the restaurant’s normal policy.
- Only one coupon may be used for every two people, up to a maximum of three coupons per group.
- The least expensive entrees or menu items in the group are complimentary, up to the maximum discount when stated.
Holidays
Coupons stating “Not valid on holidays” cannot be used on the following:
- Christmas Eve/Day
- Father’s Day
- Labour Day
- New Year’s Eve/Day
- Thanksgiving
- Canada Day
- Valentine’s Day
- Easter
- Boxing Day
- Mother’s Day
- Good Friday
- Remembrance Day
Note: Some restaurants also observe other civic or regionally celebrated holidays. If in doubt, please check with the restaurant.
Disclaimer
The Show & Save Mobile App or any of its offers may not be reproduced in whole or in part without the advance written permission of Show & Save, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Photocopies or pictures of coupons will not be accepted.
Show & Save does not assume liability for any inaccuracy or error in this App and will not be responsible if any establishment breaches its contract or refuses to accept coupons or honor the terms and conditions set forth; however, we will attempt to secure compliance.
The businesses participating in the Show & Save Mobile App and their offers are subject to change at any time.
Independent Purchasers
By purchasing Show & Save independently, you agree to the following terms of use:
- Coupons shall not be tampered with.
- Inability to follow the coupon redemption process is solely the responsibility of the user.
- To use the Redeem Again feature a user must have an adequate number of Redeem Again credits in their Wallet. The amount of credits required to Redeem Again will vary between coupons. Not all coupons will be eligible to be Redeemed Again. Once Redeem Again credits have been purchased there is no refund. All sales are final.
- The user is aware that businesses will be added and some will leave Show & Save during the term of their subscription.
- You may share your subscription with a maximum of 4 other people. We are alerted once you exceed this number.
- Abuse of the App will result in cancellation of user’s subscription and in such cases no refund will be given.
- Before purchasing a subscription, you must have at least iOS 10 or Android 7 installed on your smartphone. Please note some makes and models of phones may not be compatible with the App. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure this before purchasing.
- When purchasing a subscription online make sure to enter all of your personal information correctly especially your email address. Entering an incorrect email address will obviously result in you not receiving your Activation Code and this is your responsibility to ensure that this is done correctly. In such a case no refunds will be given.
- When purchasing a subscription online should you not receive your Activation Code by email please notify us of this immediately. We will investigate this as to why you never received it and if it is found that you did not receive your Activation Code a replacement one will be provided to you at no charge. Should it be found at a later date that you had activated the original Activation Code that you claimed you never received but actually did, that subscription as well as the one linked to the replacement Activation Code that we provided you with will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be given.
Fundraisers
By partnering with Show & Save for your fundraising effort or initiative, you agree to the following terms:
- Fundraisers accept responsibility for the collection, storage, management, and accuracy of all purchaser and necessary purchaser information.
- Lost or improperly recorded activation cards or numbers are the responsibility of the fundraiser
- All unsold activation cards must be returned to Show & Save and the activation codes must not be revealed. Any codes that have been revealed may not be returned and must be paid for.
- It is the fundraiser’s responsibility to inform their supporters before they purchase a subscription that they must have at least iOS 10 or Android 7 installed on their smartphone. They must also make them aware that some makes and models of phones may not be compatible with the App.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be given.
Display Advertisers
By advertising with Show & Save you agree to the follows terms and conditions:
- Advertisers and advertisements must not contain any foul language, profanity, or other illegal/morally questionable statements, logos, messaging, or visuals.
- Advertisers must supply desired materials i.e. logos, messaging by the specified deadline.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be given.
Participating Businesses
By partnering with Show & Save you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Coupons must outline any specific limitations, restrictions, or terms in order to be enforced.
- You will ensure that all coupons are valid before accepting them by means of ensuring that the timer on the coupon being redeemed is running which makes it a valid coupon. Failure to properly redeem coupons may result in a business’ coupon(s) being deactivated from the App. In such a case, no money will be refunded to the business.
- Inability to complete redemption process comes at the expense and responsibility of the business.
- The business agrees to accept coupons during the entire term of their agreement.
- Show & Save at its discretion may bonus a coupon(s) to a business at any point in time during the term of their agreement. These bonus coupons would be provided to the business at no charge.
- All sales are final.
Show & Save Definition of Terms/Glossary
- The following terms shall carry with them the following definitions and meanings, as laid out by Show & Save, with no exception or alternate definition:
- Activation Card– Physical card provided to users with relevant information, activation code and activation instructions. Activation Cards are provided to consumers who purchase a subscription to Show & Save from a fundraising group, directly from our office or obtain one through another organization or business.
- Activation Code– 12 Digit Code that is part of the Activation Card provided by Show & Save to consumers who have subscribed. An Activation Code is also provided to consumers who purchase a subscription online for themselves or for someone else as a gift but in those cases the Activation Code will be emailed to the purchaser and/or recipient of the gift.
- App– Short for application, refers to the Show & Save mobile, digital service.
- Administrator– Show & Save employee who approves or denies requests and submissions.
- Advertiser– Businesses that may or may not supply a coupon, but who advertise on Show & Save platforms with a Display Ad or other type of Ad.
- Advertising Application– A request from a vendor to join the Show & Save program.
- Business– Retailer or service provider, see Merchant.
- Category– A listing of all the coupons/discounts that Show & Save offers in a specific grouping of businesses.
- Favourites– A list of coupons selected by subscribers that appeal to them personally. These coupons may be used in the “offline mode” when a user does not have access to data or wifi.
- Fundraiser– Group or organization seeking to raise money through Show & Save sales.
- Merchant– Businesses that contribute coupons to Show & Save. Alternatively: Vendor, Business.
- Portal– Online tool/site used by Show & Save employees to manage merchant requests and issues.
- Redeem– To activate the coupon for its intended use of saving money.
- Redeem Again Credits – Credits that can be purchased and then used towards redeeming a coupon that has previously been redeemed. These credits will expire at the same time a user’s subscription expires. For user’s who have multiple subscriptions, the credits will expire on the same date the user’s last subscription expires.
- Single Use Coupon– Coupon that can only be used once.
- Subscriber– Someone who actively uses Show & Save, a regular user.
- Unlimited Use Coupon– Coupon that can be used over and over. Each time it is redeemed the coupon will go into a freeze period of 4 hours and when it lapses, the coupon may be used again.
- Users– Catch all term for anyone and everyone who interacts with the App.
- Vendor– Businesses that contribute coupons to Show & Save, see Merchant.
Show & Save Personal Information Agreement
- Show & Save maintains a commitment to your privacy and security. All personal information collected by Show & Save is protected and used only in context to the service. By registering with Show & Save you consent to the collection of the provided personal information and data. Information is not shared with third parties and remains strictly for subscription information. Show & Save is not liable for breaches in security outside of the realm of expected privacy.
Location Services
- When you use the Show & Save Mobile App we may collect and process information about your actual location at the time of your coupon redemption. We use various technologies to determine location, including GPS and location services provided through your mobile provider.
- When we have location information, we use it to tailor our Services for you and others, like helping you see coupon offers that are near you and to track which location the coupon/offer that you redeemed at.
- You must have your Location Services turned on in your phone and in the Show & Save App itself in order to redeem coupons with the exception of when you are using the App in the “offline mode”.
Payment Details
- Show & Save is available for purchase through valid credit card online or through cash, cheque (where accepted) or credit card (where accepted) via fundraising or other partners. Show & Save may also be purchased directly from the Show & Save office. By purchasing a Show & Save subscription you consent to the submission of personal information and financial information. The submission of inaccurate or dated payment information is solely the responsibility of the cardholder.
- A Show & Save Mobile App subscription sells for $25 and unless otherwise stated is valid for one year from the date of activation. All sales are final. The deletion or cancellation of your subscription bears no penalty but no refund will be given in these cases.
- Credit cards will be charged once the transaction is completed. Once a credit card transaction has been completed, no refund or cash back option is available. All sales/purchases are final. The deletion or cancellation of your subscription bears no penalty but no refund will be given in these cases.
- Should a credit card be charged twice as two separate transactions by user error and it is clear that it was an honest user error (two separate transactions went through the system within seconds of each other) then one of the charges may be reversed at the sole discretion of Show & Save. In such a case the purchaser must prove that they did not activate the subscriptions in question for which they were emailed Activation Codes.
- There is no individual or group purchase limit as to the number of Show & Save subscriptions.
- $25 price is listed in Canadian currency and includes one Show & Save Mobile App Activation Card or one Show & Save App Activation Code (if purchased online) and all taxes and/or fees where applicable.
Cancellation Terms
- The early cancellation of an already activated Show & Save subscription, whether through personal purchase, fundraising effort, gift, etc., shall yield no refund for the user. All sales are final at the time of purchase. Dissatisfaction with service for reasons outside of technological failure or service interruption do not qualify for possible compensation. Any compensation given will be in the form of additional subscription time. No refunds will be given.
Show & Save Disclaimer
- Show & Save reserves the right to modify the terms & conditions of service at their discretion at any time. Notification of these changes will be posted on the Show & Save website and on the App in the appropriate section. By registering with Show & Save you agree in totality to the complete listed terms and conditions. Any dispute or issue is to be addressed and taken up with Show & Save. Show & Save reserves the right to alter service at any time.
Accounts
- When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your subscription on our Service.
- You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
- You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. Should you do so, it will be done at your own risk. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
Links To Other Web Sites
- Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Show & Save.
- Show & Save has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Show & Save shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
- We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
Termination
- We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
- All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
- By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
